Mr. MacIver was a board-elected corporate officer of Interpublic Group serving as vice president
of planning and business development. He was responsible for initiatives, such as Interpublic's Organic
Growth Program, that fostered collaboration and grew the business. His responsibilities included service
to the chairman and CEO, as well as other executive officers, for whom he prepared executive briefings
on business development and marketing strategies related to key clients. He also worked enthusiastically
to connect Interpublic's broad spectrum of marketing and communications companies to maximize
performance in the marketplace.
Before that, he was the vice president and director of advanced marketing collaboration for Interpublic
Group's Advanced Marketing Services Group. Additionally, he held the titles of vice president of strategic
planning as well as chief information officer for Advanced Marketing Services. His diverse background
allowed him to explore better, more efficient and effective marketing solutions for Interpublic's agencies
and its clients as well as to hone his skills as a manager and business administrator.
Mr. MacIver joined the Interpublic Group of Companies in 1996. He started as an account supervisor of
interactive communications with McCann-Erickson WorldGroup and quickly was promoted to the position
of director responsible for building and leading a team of account, creative, design and technology

perception management assignments across corporate, financial/investor relations, marketing and
technology practice areas to produce positive business results.
He was named one of the "40-Under-40" in the
practice of public relations by PRWeek. In 2003, he
was named a David Rockefeller Fellow as a promising
executive in the City of New York and he attended and
participated in the 2003 - 2004 class of the program.
